Valerie’s Story
Valerie used to be nervous visiting the dentist from past experiences, since visiting Mayfield Dental her anxieties have dispelled, feeling relaxed, now fully understanding her treatments and teeth are well taken care of.
Valerie: When I was a child, I had a horrible dentist. It’s always put me off, to be honest. I really would not like to come.
And Deepali’s dispelled all that. I can’t believe it, to be honest.
Deepali: I’m Deepali. I’m the Principal Dentist here at Mayfield Dental. I love dealing with nervous patients. I am the only dentist here that enables you to build up a rapport with us and we can then build up a really nice patient-dentist relationship.
Valerie: Because I am, was nervous, I should say, not, I was nervous, I like seeing the same person. To me, it’s lovely because you know who you’re going to see and that means a lot to me. Because she explains everything she’s going to do to you, she makes you feel relaxed.
And I’m certainly, for the first time, not frightened of coming to the dentist. And I never, ever thought I’d say that.
Peter’s Story
Peter has been a patient for years at Mayfield Dental.
He appreciated our Croydon dentist made time to see him for a next day appointment, feeling welcome and at ease to ask questions. To him, going to the dentist is a now a pleasure.
Peter: My name is Peter and I’ve been coming to see Deepali probably for about four or five years now. So I often come for a hygiene clean and a fluoride and obviously check up as often as possible. I had a lot of work, I hadn’t been to the dentist in a long time so I had a lot of stuff to catch up on.
So for the first couple of years I came to see Deepali I had fillings to do, I had a couple of root canals, I had a couple of extractions as well until I got to the point where Deepali was happy with what’s going on in my mouth and so now I only see her once or twice a year.
I found Deepali because I live locally through her website and I give her a call and she’s like she could fit me in the next day even though I think she was actually closed at the time because of lockdown or just at the start of lockdown so she was seeing only clients only so but she made time to see me, came in to see her, she was really good, she sorted my teeth out and I’ve been coming to see her ever since. Deepali and her team at Mayfield Dental are brilliant, absolutely amazing.
The moment you come in you feel really welcome, she’s so professional and funny and you know puts you right at ease. If you’ve got any questions about anything she’s doing she’s happy to go through it all with you and just it’s really reassuring to come and see her and you can tell by the way her demeanour and she’s so professional and you just it actually makes going to the dentist a pleasure which for most people is quite traumatic so when you find a good one you want to stay with them and definitely Deepali and her team are amazing.
